More miss than hit

After staying away for a few months after dealing with a bad crowd in the parking lot at Bristol I decided to return after seeing a few reviews that said things were shaping up. I cant say if that is so because when I arrived at 7 the bouncer told me he wouldn't charge me a cover because even though there were a dozen dancers on they were all going to be leaving at the end of their shift and he didn't know if anyone was coming in. I took my chances and bought a cheap beer from the friendly bartender and thought I could get the attention of a dnacer on her way out and convince her to stay for a bit. I did catch the attention of a girl I had visited with a few months ago and she pretended to remember me as she said hi and rubbed my shoulders. I asked if I could buy her a drink thinking that would get me some time and she said sure. So we waved over the bartender and she ordered a shot of something, slammed it and said sorry my ride is here. I said can't you stick around for some dances and she refused and ran out the door. It's my fault for daring to play with the Bristol shift change which is really a shift end because who knows if any night dancers are coming and when. If I try again it will be early afternoon I guess altho this has been two bad visits in a row so I might just look elsewhere.
