The Big D at Henry’s
Monday $10 dance day, but I have never had a $10 dance here and I have never been pitched a $10 dance by a dancer. I arrive about 4pm with about 1-1.5 hours available. That’s about perfect for me because if I spend more time here I generally leave frustrated and smelling like an ashtray. The smoke can be bothersome, but if I can avoid sitting in close proximity to one of the chain smoking patrons and/or bartenders, I can blow most of the smoke smell away with a few highway miles with all the windows down on the way home.
Henry’s in the afternoons seems to be a lot of regulars, so I have found that I either hook up early into my visits or end up with nothing or something that is very disappointing. As a result, I like to give myself 20 minutes to make a call to stay or go. That gives me a chance to hit another spot if H8N feels like all the interesting ladies are attached to a regular or their phone. The thing I can not figure out about this place is where to sit. The most comfortable seats are in the back behind the main stage near the DJ but that doesn’t give you a view of the other two stages, and with the array of dancers here, it sometimes means you are forced to stare at something unappealing on the main stage for 10 minutes. So, I end up at the bar most visits and then crane my neck to see the main stage behind me or the side stage to my left.
This visit I saw Dallas on the main stage for the first time. She has been described on here many times and she was easily within the top five all time for Henry’s (putting her as average at LS or FC). I stared her down pretty hard when she was on stage and figured she would move from stage back to a regular. In the meantime, I was greeted by a pretty petite AA dancer who was at Henry’s for her first time (or so she told me). Her stage name was something like Adoration, she introduced herself to me using her real name. She had a good personality and I bought her a drink, which turned out to be a shot of 1800. I was expecting a $15 tab for that and was pleased to be asked for only $8. Before I could discuss a VIP visit, she was called to the stage (which is why I heard her stage name). She promised to return and I was eager for that to happen.
During her first stage dance to my surprise, Dallas showed up at my side. I decided I could not let this opportunity pass and she was persuasive. No nonsense in the negotiations, the standard $100 fee and a promise of satisfaction. I quickly agreed as it was clear she would move on if I didn’t and we headed to the VIP after paying the $10 wristband charge. A warm up song that got things started and then less than two more songs in she was spitting into a pile of napkins and I was very happy. I’d repeat for sure, Dallas is young, fit and efficient. That’s hard to find at Hanks and Bogies, two places I visit when I am in the area.
