Not Much Happening This Day Shift

I've been here in the past (with very mixed results), but not for several months. Club is located in a VERY industrial area in a sketchy part of South L.A. Tons of homeless in motor homes on adjacent streets. But it was daytime so whatever. Club itself is nice enough: small to medium size, smallish central stage with pole, the usual overstuffed chairs/booths, lap dance benches behind chest-high walls, VIP booths with beaded/translucent (but not transparent) curtains. VIP booths have beat-up leatherette couches and adjustable lights, and are fairly private and conducive to the activities customers desire. Pretty dark inside, and music is almost always at ear-splitting, conversation-inhibiting levels. Hard core rap mostly, or else poppy chick crap that the girls ask for. Frequent Latino music (often the best of a bad mix).

Day entry is $10, one required drink $7; VIPS $110 for 15 min. & $160 for 30 min. (some days have specials; Thursday best with $75 for 15 min). $30 nude and $20 topless dances (I think), DJ calls 3-fer-1s periodically and you can usually request and get one of those (since there is usually just 1-2 customers in the house). Days usually have 4-6 dancers, and 4 or 5 male employees rambling around. Dancers usually Latina or AA, and often heavy to grossly obese. But then, I doubt anyone comes here expecting white beach bunny college girls. Roll calls posted daily on their website, but I've seen some wild variation between that list and reality (but not this time). The door guys sometimes lie about the number of girls, too (but not this time). They sometimes refuse to honor passes, as well (any special invalidates passes, but sometimes they just do it regardless. Waitresses can pester you and miscount change, but not the last couple times I've been there.

Clearly, it is a hit or miss experience at this club. But it is probably your best bet for cheap West L.A. action (Bare Elegance can be a brothel, but prices there can be astonishing - although so can the dancers). And it is right off the 110 and 105 freeways, so easy to get to.
