Saturday NIghts Alright....

I'm not much of a Saturday Night sorta guy. Both Elton John and John Lennon sang about the wonders of Saturday night. Me? Normally most everyplace a person goes, you have to fight the throngs of people who are going out to eat, or catching a flick, or, in this case, dropping by the wonders of the Gold Club.

But I had a flight early the next morning which meant I had to be at the airport quite early, so rather than trying to go to bed early and get up at 3, I decided to just hang out at the club until I had to go to the airport.

This was a new experience for me. I usually experience this club in the afternoon to early evening. Sometimes I will duck into the club to admire the talent while waiting for rush hour to end and traffic begins to move again. I don't live in Sacramento---so my visits are generally when I am in town to fly someplace or when business brings me there.
