So I had some time to spend in NJ, and did a quick search. Torpedos came up close, about a 15 minute drive from my location. I pulled into a sleepy-town Main Street. Where was the club?? Finally I saw a tinted glass door and parked across the street. Lots of meter parking (free at night), but the street was pretty abandoned. Nothing seemed super sketchy but I got nervous with no bouncer presence at the door.
I walked in the first glass door then through the second, and looked for the bouncer. No one was manning the door, and the DJ waved me in, no cover and no ID check.
The club layout was a rectangular bar with a small, but multi-pole stage. I chose an empty corner and ordered a beer. Immediately I was tip-walked but explained I just arrived. Two girls got on the stage. They were...quite massive. Tried to not burn my eyes out with hot pokers.
Another dancer came over to say hi as she was dismounting the stage - she was very very nice however of the cross-fit build. Not my style. I tipped her a $5 and GTFO of there after only 15 minutes.....
