Stop in, but have a Plan B.
It's my sense that dancer turnover is high, even though several claim this club offers better working conditions. When turnover is high, then you don't know what you'll encounter the next time you arrive.
If most dancers feel the club is a good employer, then I assume that they leave due to low income. During my recent visit, in any case, I did not see much tipping or private dancing.
DejaVu's $15 and an occasional 2/$20 meets or beats other area clubs (except for $10 Special nights elsewhere on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday). The club itself offers decent seating, waitress service and amenities; a live DJ (usually) with a relatively tame mix of rock, oldies and R&B; an electronic real-time dancer roster with auto-song-cutoff at 3 minutes.
