On the fence

Last Friday, I felt like hitting someplace different, it had been at least two years, maybe more since I walked into this place, formerly called 4Play, and walked out disappointed.

This visit was better, I arrived shortly after 4PM, there was no cover charge, also no charge to park. I sat a the bar after walking around the club once or twice to get my bearings, it appears that the layout has changed somewhat, there is an oddly oval shaped bar, that used ti have the stage in the center, but the bar has been compressed somewhat, and the stage is now a box appended to the north side of the bar making a circuit of the bar difficult to walk around.

Took as stool at the far side of the bar, from the exit, which is also a bit odd, that when you walk in there is barely any transition and the bar is right in front of you to the right, ordered a Corona was $6 and asked if there was a special, and was offered, a bucket of 5.beers for $15. or half price, I asked why that wasn't suggested immediately, bartender just shrugged, and went off to fill my order.
