I had the opportunity to visit with a friend who is herself a stripper. She used to dance at another Birmingham club and knew of Medusa Lodge but had never visited it. We expected it to be quiet on a Sunday night but in fact it was busier than we expected. The dancers working were a mixed bunch - some local, some from Eastern Europe; some sexy, some definitely not to our taste. We had some perfectly acceptable dances with a couple of dancers but then - after considerable discussion - decided to blow a sizeable sum on a VIP dance with two very sexy dancers (both English). It would not be appropriate to describe what transpired in fine detail but we were not, let the reader understand, disappointed.
