Played rookie on a Friday afternoon, Good Guys was meh, so I decided to check out the M-street clubs. M-Pire was just starting to gear up for the night, and my first visit impressed me. The club is nice, great architecture, minus the inevitable small DC stages. Good bar, reasonable DC strip club prices, clean facilities, etc.
It seems to be a gown club, though one or two girls seemed to stretch the definition with robes that came off quickly, but overall I wouldn't rate any dancer I saw as less than a 7. As for the downtown clubs, they were a bit less explicit than clubs like GoodGuys, but did get naked and show some goodies by their third song.
I had a delightful hour or so with a dancer named Violet, who in addition to carrying on a wonderful conversation had a talent for falling out of her dress in all the right ways.
