The NuDen is definitely the best...

The NuDen is definitely the best of the "suburban" clubs in Ottawa. Maybe not as good as the Bare Fax and Barbarella's downtown, but definitely better than the Playmate (my friends and I have vowed never to go back there).

The NuDen has a nice, high stage, with lots of space to the ceiling, allowing for various pole climbing adventures. There is also an on stage shower, although I have yet to see it used. Some complain that when sitting front row that the stage is TOO high, but it gives everyone else in the club a commanding view. There is plenty of seating/tables and interior is well kept, clean and fairly bright.

I've been a couple times during the week and the place is never exactly crowded, but usually a decent number of patrons. The girls will let you have a seat and drink (beers around $5) and watch a few dances before they stop by and chat. Have never felt pressured into a dance. If you're not interested, just politely decline and they move on to greener pastures. Not that you will want to turn them all down.... The quality of the girls the last time we were there was quite high... maybe one 5, most 7-9s, and one definite 10.
