I entered the axe on a Monday afternoon. There was no doorman so did not have to pay the £5 fee :).
This place is very different from the other surrounding pubs. Very naughty dancers. Dancers will approach you in the bar area and can be quite pushy however you should be firm with them if you don’t want a dance.
I spent around 20 mins chatting with a couple and enjoying my drink before going for one.
Dance was good - touching was encouraged. Would not recommend if you are shy.
