Third Time Not a Charm

My first visit to The Cricket was memorable and I’ve been back twice hoping to for a good outcome. This visit was on a Tuesday evening. Entry was $10 and Tuesdays are $5 beer night until 7 (or possibly later). When I walked in all the girls were on stage. I counted about 10 girls ranging from 4 to 6 or 7 in appearance. The usual mix of a few heavies, black, Latina and white. The girls left the stage after I got my beer and I never saw many again. I think it was near shift change, so I wondered why they would do a review when most of the girls were leaving. One cute blonde with big glasses caught my eye, but after she passed a couple of times I realized she was the cocktail waitress. Damn! I hate it when the best looking girl is the waitress!

I sat at the bar for a while since this location gives a good view of the stage and is a bit higher than the tables. They also have booths around two sides of the club, but you have to pay extra to sit there. The center stage is small and there is a micro stage with a pole at the end of the bar next to where I was sitting. After a while a couple of girls rotated from center stage to the micro stage. I think the DJ announced this with every new girl on stage, but only a couple of girls actually went up on the micro. A little later a blond with a good figure came in. She chatted with locals and disappeared into the private dance area a couple of times. She was by far the best looking girl in the club at a solid 8. Most of the other girls sat with other guys and didn’t circulate. I tipped a couple of girls on stage, but neither came to talk to me after. I did see the blonde talk to everyone who tipped her, but even though she was very attractive I didn’t get the feeling she would be a good bet in back. I could be wrong, but I’ve learned to go with my first impressions. The only girl who spoke to me was Nikki, a cute girl with a sweet face and nice personality, but a little too overweight for my taste. I stayed until about 11 and gave up.
