Ghost Town Til 4PM

I was in town for business, had a long lunch break, and saw that Goodfellas opened at 2pm. I’m always down for a little daytime club action, so I was there by 2:40 and it was DEAD. Beyond dead. Doors open, no door person, another set of doors, and then finally a small bar with 1 dancer/1 customer sitting and 1 bartender working. No music playing. Half the club was partitioned off by a mesh curtain. I instantly noticed the “kids skating rink” carpet previous reviews complained about and had a laugh.

Once her regular left, the earliest dancer informed me the DJ doesn’t even get there til 3:30. I sipped $3.50 Miller Lites until then (hate when clubs make you deal with quarters, btw) and things did noticeably pick up after 3. All of a sudden, there was music playing, 6 other dancers had shuffled in, and there was a decent crowd of about 10 construction guys who had just gotten off work.

The dancers were all white. 4 skinny brunettes in their early 20s and 3 thicker girls in their late 20’s/early 30’s (blonde, brunette, and a redhead.) The redhead had gigantic natural tits and I wouldn’t have minded shelling out $30 for a dance from her, but every time she left the stage she went right back to the same guy at the end of the bar. This was definitely a club tailored to local regulars. I might’ve been the only out of towner there. A couple of girls even talked about how they were just drinking waiting for their regulars to come in.
