Ahhh, Purple Orchid what can I say. Speaking as a multiple decade customer Purple Orchid has always been a comfort spot. Bartenders know my beer. Steve the manager always welcomes me. The dj usually shakes my hand.
I have been friends and danced with many dancers here for years. As is often the case there seems to be a new crop of entertainers who usually roll with it and learn the system here or depart within a couple weeks.
This visit I didn't visit with many dancers basically limiting things to one or two longtime friends. My visit back to the $20 area was very satisfying as always. I see no need to visit the $30 rooms but I'm comfortable as a longtimer. If privacy is important or you're getting vibes from your dancer that the private room is critical go for it. You won't be disappointed.
