Sad little place

Most of the other reviews have already addressed the club seating and atmosphere. I'll just add that when you have ample seating and 4 guys in there...it sure feels empty. The other issue is the lighting. Most places will have dim lights, strobes or some sort of ambiance. The lighting in Sam's felt like waiting in a bus terminal. All in all I felt bad for the place as it probably cost more to light and heat the club that night than they took in from customers. Felt bad for the girls as tipping and interest seemed scarce. I did enjoy talking to the bartender though and she actually gave me a free drink. Overall it was a pretty sad place on a Friday night. I'll give it another try if in the area again but expectations are low.
