This was a return visit for me to the Palomino. I've had a good time here before and this was no exception. This is still one of the better clubs in Vegas. I like Palomino for a few reasons. The prices to start with. This is still Vegas so everything is expensive but compared to the Rhino or Sapphire this place is very reasonably priced. Beers were 7 bucks compared to 14 and up at Rhino. Cocktails were a bit more but still well priced for Vegas.
Dances out on the floor were 20 and VIP started at 100 for about three songs. I did both and felt the mileage was in line with what you would get at any of the other clubs in Vegas. The bonus at Palomino is that there are no mandatory drink charges in the VIP and the girl gets naked not just topless. The hustle factor feels just a little lower than most of the other clubs in Vegas as well.
You may have noticed that I keep writing "for Vegas..." That pretty much sums up this place. Its good for Vegas but there are much better places out there. As far as I could tell extras were either very limited or extremely expensive. Drinks were well priced for Vegas but not compared to say Portland. The girls are friendly but not quite the top tier you find at Rhino.
This place is still worth a visit and won't wreck your wallet quite as bad as the Rhino or Sapphire.
