Sexy scenery for a girls night out.

I went to the Minneapolis Spearmint Rhino with my best friend after going to a concert downtown, around 12:30 on a Wednesday night. I used to be a dancer years ago so I don’t waste money on dances, but I still enjoy the ambiance and people watching. My best friend had never been to one before and was excited about having a female friend who was up for going. The bouncer was friendly and made us feel welcome. The cover was ten dollars. I was surprised how many girls were there for what appeared to be slower weeknight. I think there were maybe thirty girls or so.

I had a gimlet for $10.50 and my friend had a lemon drop for $11.50. The prices seemed a little steep but not unreasonable for downtown. Some of the dancers chatted with us a little. The overall vibe was chill and friendly. I bought a couple of them drinks. They didn’t seem too perturbed that we weren’t buying dances. I realize men might have a different experience. This club has some absolute knockout girls. There were some seriously formidable fake breasts if you’re into that. There were also some delectably natural types. The bartender O. was cute and very outgoing.

A few of the girls were very proficient at pole tricks and we sat at the tip rail for a few songs. Some of them however seemed utterly uninspired. They absentmindedly shook and twerked their fleshy parts as if that alone might lure customers to the tip rail. I’ll never understand the types of dancers who won’t dance if no one is at the tip rail because stage was always my favorite part of being a dancer.
