Nice way to kick off the weekend on a Friday afternoon

This was my second trip to Rachels. I was driving down the interstate, wanted to watch a sporting event that was on in the afternoon, and thought what would be better than a steak, the game, and a lovely view to go along with it!

The place itself is big and upscale. valet driveway up front. A large foyer when you first come in with an attendant at the front (no cover at that time of day.) When you walk into the space, immediately in front and down to the right is a long center stage, usually with just one girl on at that time of day. A long bar runs down the near and far walls to the right, with lots of tables and seats in between the bars and stage. At the far right are areas for simple slightly private dances ($25 per dance), and then inexpensive VIP rooms slightly elevated ($600 for half an hour normally, and $300 a half an hour during the day). When you walk in to the left is a restaurant area if you just want to come in and have a steak in an area without much dancing. There is an entire second floor with an additional bar and more expensive VIP rooms. I was told that these are $1000 for 30 minutes in the evening, but $500 for 30 minutes during the day.

Not that its why people go, but the staff were unusually nice and accommodating. Both the security guys and the waitresses and bartenders were great. I sat down at a table between the bar and stage, and they changed the TV for me. I ordered a drink, and a meal (salad, steak and sides). Sat and enjoyed the game.
