Cheeks is like Ohio, hit or miss

I was in Dayton for a couple of days for work and went to Cheeks on a Wednesday and a Thursday, both in the evening, around 5:30. There's a $5 cover at the entrance and the door girl is pleasant enough. You have to walk through a metal detector first, though.

The last time I'd been to Cheeks was almost 10 years ago, but not much has changed it seems. I sat at the bar and had a couple of beers ($4.50 for a Corona). I saw a few girls milling about, some hanging out with their regulars. Girls wear pasties on the stage, because fuck you, it's Ohio and they don't like 'em bare titties around here, thank you very much.

I talked to a few of the regulars at the bar and the scuttlebutt is that with the other clubs closed from "the raids" and the tornados, there's isn't much choice in town. (There's an all-nude place called Diamonds not too far away.) The quality of the girls was quite varied. Most were white in the 5-8 range (depending on how long it's been since you last went to a titty bar). I saw a couple of AA girls and the bartender on Thursday seemed to have an Asian background. Wish there were some hispanic girls, but alas...
