Pleasantly Surprised (For a Change) - Review of Taboo • 2005 E Linden Ave Linden, NJ 07036

I have only been to Taboo a couple of times over the past several months, not having had visited the club previously and, unlike most of the other establishments in the north and central NJ area, I do like this place and would recommend it to others. The two cons of the club are that parking is a bit challenging and the dollar parade is in full force at least at night, but there are many pros to balance or even cancel out the cons. The club is very clean, including the bathroom, and there is variety among the dancers unlike certain other places in the area. There were about 15 dancers on staff the night I went and it was a nice mixture of foreign (Russian and South American), American and a couple of AA ladies. The lap dancers are fairly high mileage, but I do not believe that extras are offered at this location. I am fine with that because I am not an extras guy, but if that is what you are looking for, then this may not be the place for you. I got dances from a thin attractive Columbian blonde named Adriana and a pretty sexy American brunette named Anna who was most likely in her early to mid twenties. Both grinded pretty well, but didn't do anything too crazy. As soon as I arrived, there was a large AA gentleman named Tony at the door who shook my hand and welcomed me to the club. About 10 minutes later, he was making his rounds around the bar talking to all the customers and then he again shook my hand, asked me how I was enjoying the place and then commented that I should let them know if there was anything they could do to make my stay more enjoyable. I know that remark has to be taken for what its worth and only carries so much weight, but I have probably been to about 50 different strip clubs throughout the US and Canada and never remember anyone else in any of these clubs even having said anything like that. I think this is going to be my go to spot from now on since it is obvious Go Go Rama is going to continue to go downhill (stay tuned for my review on that place from the same date).
