Afternoon at The Harem

I was working in bmore, and was able to leave early, around 3:30. Given the close proximity to the block, I decided to visit Club Harem. I usually make it to the Harem once every month or 2. I've been to most of the clubs on the block, but I find Club Harem to be my favorite, mostly for the atmosphere, and the friendliness of the staff and dancers. Other clubs either don't have a variety of women, or seem to contain too many girls with habits. I also like the Red Room, but I always leave smelling like smoke.

As you walk in, the club is set up with the bar on the right, and a single stage behind the bar, against the wall. There is an ATM machine to the right as you enter, though I've never used it. A buddy said it charges a $10 fee. At the far end of the par, there is a small section, behind beads, that is for the couch dances. For more private dances, there is a door at the end of a short hallway, past the bathrooms, but I've never seen that area. The bar is dark with some black lights and neon lights giving it a purple glow. Every time I go, they are usually playing rap music. I don't mind rap, but it would be nice to hear some other music. I usually go during the week, in the afternoon. The clientele typically consists of older guys like me, usually stopping off after work. I never felt a weird vibe while at the Harem, but, I've never been there late on a weekend to see what it's like. I've seen all different types of girls, with different body styles, ethnicities, and attitudes.

This last time I went, there were 5 girls working. There 2 were black girls who were pretty, but a little heavy for my taste. There were also 3 white girls, 1 heavy blonde, and 2 thin brunettes. The girls seemed happy to see me, though one of the brunettes looked tired and introduced herself in a mechanical way. In the past, I've seen girls that were more interested in their phone, but not this time. All of the girls looked to be mid to late 20s. The bartender is a nice guy named Jeff. When I took my seat toward the end of the bar, near the couch dance area, Jeff came over and introduced himself and shook my hand. I've seen him there before, but I'm sure he didn't remember me.
