Great place off the beaten path

With the decline of HiLiter and the low talent at Bandaids, I decided to head east to get away from the poor managed clubs of the Z family.

Sugar 44 has been described many times, but a word of caution is to enter from side street at red light. Making a u turn to head back west is brutal. Club itself is a nice, small club with stage in left middle and bar directly facing entrance. VIP area is elevated along same wll that bar is on.

Saw 4 customers and 6 dancers during my visit. The highlight was seeing to former HL dancers there that I knew from years back, Mustang and Angie. Mustang was tied up with a regular, so all I got was a smile and a wave. Thankfully, Angie came over after about 10 minutes asking to join me. We caught up on the current status of many of our mutual former HL friends, then decided it was time for some "real" catching up. Looked at new area, but both of us decided elevated area would work for us.
