A Decent L & L Experience

A Tuesday of business meetings had me in the Gastonia, NC area as the afternoon changed to evening. Not wanting to fight Charlotte, NC traffic I decided to kill a little bit of time and have a drink at L & L in Gastonia.

I had not been to L & L in sometime and so while there was no cover (afternoon) I did have to spend $10 to renew a membership. With that I was buzzed into the club. There were only five or six other customers in the club with half of those playing pool. I found a spot at the bar and ordered a $4.50 light beer. A busty blonde was also sitting at the bar and she slide over one bar stool to a position next to me and we chatted. The barbie blond seemed down and she said she was leaving in thirty minutes. She seemed disappointed to have only have made $200 that day. With that I didn't bother to ask her for a dance and so we just had some nice conversation until her shift was complete.

Other than the barbie dancer the afternoon bartender was easily the best looking woman in the club. I counted six dancers with some coming and going as there was a shift change that included the attractive bartender.
