Singing the Blues!
I come back to the Blue occasionally because it is close by and every once in while there is someone really nice there to have a little private time with. Not this time. I arrived around 8pm, paid the $5 cover and bought a beer at the bar ($5). There were 3 dancers working - none of them were on the stage and all 3 of them were in the 3 to 4 range - unattractive, overweight & large butts. All 3 of them approached me with a handsy hard sell but I was not interested and it didn't seem like any of the other patrons were either. I realize 8pm was a bit early to expect a lot of dancers but I would certainly expect more than 3. I stuck around for about 45 minutes and then left without getting a dance.
Dances go for $20 plus $10 or 20 (depending on the time/day) going to the house. The house fee has been in place for a few months and one dancer told me that it has really affected the quality and quantity of the talent that comes to the Blue. Do you think management reads these type of reviews and realizes that the word is out and their greed is really impacting experience? The Blue's reputation has really taken a hit, but as I indicated earlier, every once in a while (which seems to happen less & less lately) you can strike gold
