Great night at Kappa

Stopped by on my way back from a job in Bloomington. This place has been remodeled since I was last there, much nicer than before. Cover was $10 and they required ID to enter. There was one main stage and a bar area, second stage was not in use. Heard the AC had been out the week before, but when I got there it was cold in the club. The atmosphere was friendly, and I had a diet coke ($4.00) to start off the evening as I was driving. I arrived at 7:00PM and there were a couple of guys blowing a lot of cash (tipping $50+ per dance at the rail and so on, I later learned they were blowing their entire tax return for the year). Several other patrons were scattered throughout the club. Music was loud, but not unbearable. Watched several girls dance and even went to the stage and tipped a couple ($1 each time, up to $5 per dancer). Onstage dancers were attentive and would come over to collect tips, lots of contact, one even grabbed my crotch, while setting up for a headstand on my lap. She made it look like an accident, but the sly wink she gave me showed it wasn't. However, when they were done the dancers either disappeared into the back or went to the guys blowing the money. Finally, one dancer came over and started to talk to me. She happens to be the cute petite type that really gets me going. We did a VIP dance ($150 and I tipped $50 at the end) and all I can say is, WOW! I left feeling much better about this place than when I first got there. Will definitely be back.

Overall the variety in dancers was pretty good. There were a couple of them who were a little heavy for my liking, 3 AA, 2 Latino, 3 White girls were dancing. 3 Song sets on the main stage (1 Clothed, 2 Topless, 3 Nude although some were nude by the end of the first song). The girls averaged about a 7 on a scale of 1-10 for looks, most were average or below dancers. However, 2 of them were very good on the pole and on the floor. One used rings and hula-hoops as a part of her act. I can be somewhat picky about the girls I buy dances from, so there were only 2 I was interested in. But the variety was good. Some girls were natural, (B and C cup) while a couple had bolt on (DD cups). Most were athletic or skinny although there were a couple who were heavier. A couple of the older girls had some baby damage.

As far as value, I only had the one diet Coke and refilled it for free a couple of times (I did tip the bartender/server $1 for each refill). Later in the evening I asked for a Mike's Hard Lemonade and they said they normally have it but they were out. Cover charge was $10, and I think they waive it if you get there early enough. Lap dances were $30, but they occasionally ran a 2 for 1 special. VIP was $150 for a 1/2 hour. $300 for an hour. They also have a Champagne Room, but the dancer I was with said it wasn't worth it, $500 for 1 hour and the only difference from VIP is some drinks are included.
