Not a bad experience. A bit grungy and depressing but action-packed.
I popped in one night about 25 minutes before closing (2 am), and there were 2 other customers in the place as far as I could tell. And there were about 3 to 5 girls, but they were all bitterly (perhaps it had been a pretty shitty night) sitting at the bar and on miscellaneous chairs, about half in street clothes. The place in general feels grungy, dirty, and just all-around icky.
I bought my beer, and I was quickly greeted by a not-so-great Hispanic lady (Angelina). A solid 3.5. But who cares, it was time to get down to business. Quickly decided to go to one of the private booths. Had to pay the bouncer $60 (prepaid for 3 songs maybe? It was a bit unclear). Then gave my lady $60 for a HJ, but I think she got bored because it turned into a BBBJ/CIM (she also started a bit DFK, but I wasn't feeling it), so fine, whatever. Not all that bad for $120 total.
I'll stick this place in my back pocket for when I need to bust and don't wanna drop huge cash.
And since this place is also a recording studio, as you leave there are complimentary jazz CDs. Meh!
