This was my first visit to Bare Assets...A HOME RUN! Most of the places in Tampa either serve liquor but no action or more action, but no liquor. All the well known places that are totally nude in Tampa do not serve alcohol. Bare Assets is the best of both worlds.
The place is a bit off the beaten path, on US 19 just over the county line. A bit of a hike from Tampa, but if you are heading to Clearwater or Palm Harbor, this is not that much farther. The interior is in good shape, comfortable seating. The stage is off to the side with seating around as well as a nice bar, but watching the stage from the bar is not as comfortable as from one of the floor tables or chairs around the stage.
I showed up early on a Saturday afternoon in May. Just a few customers at the bar but a smoking hot bartender (I wish she was dancing). No one one stage, but a couple of girls wondering about.
I'm guessing the quality of dancer looks might change with different shifts...TBD!
Debbie seemed friendly without being pushy. Bought her a drink and told her it was my first time here; she tells me it's her first day too. We're chatting and she tells me she's never done full-nude dancing, but what the heck. She has a nice figure for a mature girl (not too old, but not a 20 something either). It's clear she is testing the waters. We enjoy the drinks for 10 minutes and then I tell her it would be great if I could be her first private dance. We get an understanding and she agrees after her short on-stage set. She does her set. Nice, eventually nude. Sweet!
After the set she comes right back and we go back to the private dance booths; they are a little tight...over sized phone booths and she gets right to work. 2 songs and I'm a happy camper. This is definitely my new all time fav! Can't wait to try again.
