ATX Dayshift Tour Stop #1
Was in ATX on a weekend trip with some buddies and decided to check out some dayshifters on Sunday afternoon. The Yellow Rose was our first stop. We arrived around 2:30pm and there was no cover. Upon entering the club, we were immediately approached by a server who showed us our seating options and we chose a table off to the side of the main stage. The other stage was unoccupied and there were 6-8 other patrons scattered around the club. The server put on some immediate pressure for some drinks yet failed to inform my group of the drink specials, which we learned of from the DJ only after putting in our order. Then, a short time later she approached us again for drinks even though none of us had even finished half of our drinks. It made the vibe a bit weird but definitely not enough to ruin the afternoon.

One of my buddies got snagged almost immediately by a euro-caucasian dancer and reported later that the 2 topless dances received were well worth it. While the stage performances were decent entertainment and deserving of tips, the overall quality of the dancers were a bit disappointing (ranging from 3s to 6s), and none of the dancers tempted me enough to part with my lap dance money.
My buddies and I had another round of drinks, this time taking advantage of the drink specials ($3 bloody mary's!) we wished he had back home in SF, and headed to our next stop...
