Fun Times

INTRODUCTION

My travels brought me to the Steel City to visit some family and as we all know, Pittsburgh clubs suck for extra fun despite a recent entry that said something to the contrary, Years of reviews of non extras made me believe that even if the review was true, it was an anomaly.

With this in mind I researched (a novel concept) other clubs in the surrounding area to see what was available. Within the Keystone State there are plenty of venues for extra fun, but none within a reasonable driving distance. Pittsburgh is also close to West Virginia and Ohio. And a reasonably close club with extras on the menu was Palace in the Pines. According to Google Maps it was an hour and 15 minutes from where I was staying. Considering I used to drive 50 minutes to get to my favorite club in Phoenix, I didn’t think an extra 25 minutes was out of line here. So I hopped in my rental and hit the road which was 97 percent freeway. The Palace is literally a couple of minutes west of the PA/Ohio border.
