Why did I even turn my car off

First time stopping at The Cricket. It's right off of Michigan Ave past Telegraph right after the light. Parking is a bit confusing, I actually turned into the parking for the buildings right next to Cricket, and luckily there's a sign that's posted that tells you to back out and drive to the stop sign then make a right. As others have noted the parking is free and gated definitely felt safe.

Upon entry I make a right and open up the door where I see the bouncer standing. It was VERY dark in there and it took a minute for my eyes to adjust. After some friendly chit chat with the bouncer I took a seat at the bar which will be on your right hand side as you walk in.

Bartender was an older madam but she was nice and friendly. Ordered a Dilly Dilly which cost $10 tip included w/o $7.50. From there I took in the sights and it was dreadful.
