Improving Slightly

This used to be a go to spot for me. But in the last year or so, I’ve felt there had been a talent decline and some reliable veteran strippers moved on. Combined with the elimination of early afternoon hours, it seemed like the club was in somewhat of a downward spiral. Still, the club has had its ups and downs over the years and I’m always hoping for a comeback. So I tried a recent Friday evening visit.

Cover is still $10 but a Deja Vu pass from the internet works to waive that. Dream Girls is part of the Deja Vu chain. A same day ticket stub from nearby Target Center or Target Field will also get free admission. And I believe a drink receipt from Sneaky Pete’s still works but I haven’t tried it lately. Sneaky Pete’s is the bar downstairs and is worth a stop because Dream Girls does not serve alcohol.

Pop is $12. So without a pass and to get into the club, you basically have to pay $22 and you get a plastic cup of coke for that. To my mind, that’s nothing if the club will be fun. But Dream Girls is so hit and miss that there are times that the entry cost is really annoying.
