Two disappointing visits

Two recent disappointing trips to Hank 8. Went on Wednesday last week hoping to get a little enjoyment before heading over to the airport to collect a visitor flying in that afternoon. I had about 60 minutes to spare and figured this would be plenty of time. Bad assumption on this occasion.

No parking charge, $5 toll to get in and then 6.75 for a beer, all totally fine. The key is finding the best spot to sit to minimize the direct cig smoke. Actually, I never know where to sit in this spot generally. There isn’t an obvious landing spot. You can sit at the bar and then contort your body to see the dancers directly behind you on the main stage, go to the little tables with church social types chairs in the middle of the space and feel oddly prominent, hit the bar by the stage straight in from the entrance and miss most of the action or sit by the dj booth in a more private area but with a view of only the min stage and little view of the other two stages. I tend to end up at the bar seats by the god-awful washroom entrance because it is less conspicuous.

On to the specifics, on Wednesday talent was typical meh, but that’s what I expected. Disappointed in the number of performers. I was approached quickly by a gal I think is Nicole. We have experience and she’s does fine work, but with too much drama. On a prior visit she had to sneak me in and out of the VIP because a possessive former roommate or sugar daddy enetered the club. On the prior visit it was $100 worth of fun that was exactly what one would expect at that price point w no cover unless self supplied. On this recent trip, Nicole was very spacy, it also very possessive. She sat w me and said very little, looked around a lot and then disappeared even though I told her I had 45 minutes. As I started to think I would run out of time and get nothing, a dancer (Doll) approached and offered a VIP trip, big boobs, brunette, a bit on the full side. I like that.

I didn’t negotiate because time was short and I am comfortable pulling the plug if things go sideways and also willing to make a $40 investment knowing that I might have to add another Benjamin on top of the fee for the first dance or two. I feel more comfortable negotiating in the booth where I don’t feel shy and don’t need to be coy for fear of being overheard. Doll dances and offers her assets without restriction, but I can’t get anything and she says she doesn’t do that. I tried hard, but she would not budge, so I guess I found another reason to have a discussion before entering the booth. Still, I enjoyed the dances, gave her $60 for what was about 4 dances and she was fine. Maybe next time more happens.

In and out for less than $75 but I would have been happy to spend more.
