First Visit Experience

I went to visit the XXXV Club on Easter Sunday so my experience may be a bit abnormal. The club itself is located off Route 35 but there is not direct turn off from the road to the club. Be sure to utilize your GPS to take a proper exit to reach it.

People had stated that there were parking fees and cell phone check in fees but when I pulled into a spot, there was a guy who looked at me, but in the parking lot but no one was collecting any fees for parking and I left my phone in my car. Entrance does have several bouncers and they patted me down before asking me to pay the cover ($20) and did inquire if I had a cellphone before letting me in.

The interior of the club is nice compared to the other clubs I’ve been to in NJ (GGR and DD Manville). A large “I” shaped stage to the left when you walk in which is where most of the entertainers are preforming. Most patrons were seated around this stage and there were other tables and smaller island stages that were roped off. While the interior does look nice, I would not describe it as “classy” but kind of over the top garish.

After I came in, a waitress came to ask if I wanted anything to drink and I obliged by purchasing a diet coke. The drink came in a plastic water cooler cup so don’t expect anything that will really quench your thirst. I think that purchasing a drink is mandatory but they don’t give you a wrist band or stamp or anything to indicate if you’ve paid admission/purchased a drink.

The club advertises as BYOB and they say they can get beer delivered but they are essentially providing it in house; saw guys getting buckets of it with ice. Hookah is also available but I’m afraid I’m not familiar with the prices.
