Too early on a Saturday afternoon.

I have not been to the LS is several years and thought it would be worth a return since I was visiting friends in Michigan. Arrived at DTW late on a Saturday morning and since the LS reports to open at 11:30 am I headed straight to Romulus, barely a 10 minute drive from the car rentals. No cover charge but valet parking set me back $7 or $8. Headed up the flight of stairs and entered essentially a vacant room. There was one other patron, a bartender, and no one on stage. Bought a Bud Light which set me back $10 (including tip) and waited. And waited. And waited some more. After about 30 minutes, a young blond cutie climbed the short flight of stairs and performed her perfunctory 3-song set. I can't blame her for the lack of enthusiasm with only two men in the audience but you would figure that she would at least make eye contact. Nada. Songs were about 4 minutes each so after about 12, she climbed down and disappeared into the back. Too bad. Finished my beer waited another 15 minutes with nothing to do and headed out. I will return but not so early on a Saturday afternoon.
