TOFTT at Taboo
This club can be harder to find than pirates treasure. You can see it from the freeway, but you have to exit, cross freeway, double back, go three streets, make a u turn, backtrack to street two, make a right, go all the way to the end, make another right and you are there. If you are in the midst of a homeless encampment, you've hit the spot.- Welcome to the OC- Assessing from the front, the building looks to weigh about 3.5 tons. Inside it seems much lighter. Especially in the dancer department, but more later. You pay your 10 at the door, which includes a water. Go 20 feet down a hallway which could be used for a horror film, turn left and you are in. On the left is MR DEEJay, five feet further is the drink station where you pick up your water and pay for your dances. Five feet further is the hallway to restrooms (to some this is the most important info). On the right is a single stage. continuing right are tables and chairs, and the requisite couches at the back. Dances are not done in this main room, but in booths which surround the room. Monitored cameras abound, this is Anaheim after all. Upon arrival only two dancers present, it was shift change after all.. meh. Waited for new shift..loong wait to nearly 9 with no entertainment before a fresh crop arrived, to dive into the back room and not reappear for 45 minutes. At that point two came out and did a floor show together, both 8.5 GND types - worthy of the OC. By 10 there were 5, which was fine since there was only one other patron. Proceeded to have a good time within the guardrails utilizing the 3for40's, even tho they do cut the songs here. If you are in the area, and cannot stomach the drive to COI, and are looking for some eye candy with limited fun after 10, this is the place for you. Otherwise, go north young man.
