Depressing

I heard that Babes Cabaret took the place of Onyx (RIP) and decided to check it out with a couple of friends after bar hopping around Fishtown and Northern Liberties. The seetup/ambiance is the same but one can infer that the demographic that Babes is trying to attract is similar to the Risque and the antithesis of the crowd that frequented Onyx.

There were 10 or more girls and most of then were indolent or had bodies that still needed some additional training. We sat at the bar that's located away from the stage and noticed that the place was low energy at 2:30am on a Friday night. The bartender, waitresses, and the female managers were much more attractive than the actual talent and that's not a positive sign for business.
