So, when I went to Gigi's for the first time, I wasn't sure what to expect. After a long day at work and several errands, I just wanted a place to grab a couple of beers and I decided to pull into Gigi's after seeing the sign for their happy hour deal. This club is definitely more of a dive bar, but in the good, local watering hole type of way, in my opinion. It seemed pretty clean for a dive bar, but I really didn't want to look too closely. As I got in there, the only other customer was leaving and I remained the only customer for the rest of my time there (about an hour or two). The music wasn't overly loud and seemed pretty varied in terms of genre, which kind of surprised me. I didn't expect to be hearing modern hip hop based on the atmosphere of the bar, but as a fan of that type of music I was pleasantly surprised when I heard it in the rotation. The lighting was dim, but in an enjoying and relaxing way that fits the personality of the club. I enjoyed the general atmosphere, but I can tell it definitely isn't for everyone and I suspect that it will appeal to more of a middle aged and up, blue collar clientele. It's a small club and the furniture and fixtures are definitely worn down a little bit, but the beer is cheap and I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere as I was really just looking to drink for a minute and wasn't there specifically for the entertainment.

Speaking of entertainment, it's hard to get a good read on it from my vantage point. There were 3 girls working during my time there, but they spent a lot of time on their phones (partially my fault, as I just wasn't in the mood for conversation all that much and really just wanted to zone out while drinking and listening to the music). They did a couple of dances on stage, but I wasn't paying attention at all so they stopped. All of the dancers were white when I was there, but I've heard that there are dancers of other races that work there too. They just weren't there when I went. Overall, the girls definitely varied in their attractiveness, but I would say that I wouldn't go here looking for the most attractive dancers in the world (though one of them was definitely my type). I spoke with a couple of them and got dances from both since I didn't really want to go to a strip club, not watch the dances, and just drink without interacting at all. They were friendly and one of them especially (for me at least) was incredibly easy to talk to. The dances were great too. The first ones far surpassed my expectations, especially for the cost, with good contact. She was very good at telling what I enjoyed in the dance and focusing on those areas more. The second dances that I got were with the girl that I found very attractive and she told me she was new. They weren't as good as the first dances (which is to be expected with such little experience), but there was still solid contact and I enjoyed her very much.

For all of it's shortcomings that many others would bring up, the value at this club is incredible. The happy hour beer prices are pretty cheap at $3 each. The real value of the club lies in the dance prices. 3 dances for $25? Count me in. Even though I wasn't in the mood for these dances, that deal is just too good to pass up and the second set of dances almost had me staying for more as I really enjoyed her company and the dances. I paid a small cover charge of a couple of dollars (I think it was $4) as well. Overall, this club is definitely a place where your money goes pretty far.
