Sunday Night

Got to Shimmers around 10:00PM on a Sunday and stayed until after Midnight. Was patted down by security guard upon entrance. During my time there, the number of customers fluctuated between 5 to 10. There were 6 girls working. 3 larger black women, 1 fit white girl, 1 chunkyish white girl and 1 fit mixed girl. The layout of the club is wide open. There is lots of seating in between 2 stages. On this night only one stage was in use. Well drinks were 4.50.

I sat at the bar with my drink and took in the place. Most of the girls were sitting at the bar or with other customers. Throughout the night the girls were very chatty with customers and not pushy at all for dances. When Stormy, a fit mixed girl, went up on stage I followed. She gave a great dance at the stage, getting into my lap several different times. I went back for some dances. The lap dance booths are off to the side of the club and have a sheer curtain with a comfy chair. Dances were 25 bucks with two way touching. The dances were all within the rules but were very good and well worth the price.

Overall it was a good trip to shimmers. I know sometimes the dancers can be stand offish or not very attractive. I was surprised with the talent for a Sunday night. I also liked not paying the usual 40 bucks a dance that's been going around in Portland.
