Rick's is one of two truly "upscale" gentleman's clubs in the downtown Mpls area, the other being Schiek's Palace Royale. It has very good atmosphere, comfortable seating, and decent to very good service and food. The management is friendly and professional, most of the girls I would consider to be above average. I think perhaps due to the fact that it is part of a publicly traded enterprise [NASDAQ:RICK] that they emphasize a higher level of customer service and quality experience than the average privately-owned jack shack. It is topless only, and they do serve alchohol. Because it is more upscale and well-managed, you tend to get less of the frat-rat crowd that a lot of the other downtown places seem to cater to. It gives me a more relaxed, mature vibe--the people I've dealt with there seem to be pretty content anyway, less drama than some other places. Perhaps the downside to this is that the dances are more out in the open, as they don't really have private booths persay (at least not on the main floor). I would recommend this place to a slightly older crowd looking for a more refined experience. Or conversely, a place to take a girlfriend who hasn't really been to a club before and is nervous about what it's all about.
