Nice time

I went to Candyland Saturday night around 1:30am. The cover charge was $15. You get a free drink with the cover but no alcohol is served in the club. The club is really small and the old stage has been replaced with a smaller stage & pole. This left a little rise where the old stage sat on a foundation that I stumbled on every time I went to the stage to tip. There are 3 broom closet size VIP rooms that cost $10 to enter. The dancers generally charge $20 a song but will get totally nude and encourage handshakes. On the floor the dances are full contact with roaming hands for singles and show more than any other club in Memphis with full breast exposure but the bottoms stay on. Tipping is supposed to be mandatory but there are always the spectators and some dancers simply don't try to get paid. The person who collects the cover is the owner and he watches everything inside and outside on security cameras which are all around the club. I have been told that dancers have been fired for full service in the VIP. Also I have seen the owner call dancers out for sitting around & ignoring customers. I spent almost an hour in the club and maybe $125. The dancers were all Black and mostly friendly. The club has restuarant table chairs lining the walls but no tables. The dancers aren't shy about their bodies or your hands roaming. I wish that I had more time to stay but I was on break from work.
