Had To Check It Out

I've heard so much about this place, that I figured I should check it out. I visited once around 5pm and again around 10pm. It was slow around 5pm, only a couple girls on the floor, no one on the stage. So I just grabbed a beer and sat at the bar, until one girl got on stage. There are two stages, with only a few (5 - 10) seats around each, the chairs were kind of worn and sat real low. I finished the beer and left after the girl finished her set. I returned around 10pm and payed a cover (I think it was $7). The club was very crowded, and it is a fairly small place. There were a lot of girls on the floor, mostly around the bar. It was difficult to find a seat. The only seats available were at the stage. There is also a fairly large smoking patio with several couches. The patio was a cool spot, with a few girls smoking and chatting. I ended up getting a couple dances that night, 3 for $100 from two different girls. Most of the girls were the typical "Portland Pretty", short, skinny, with piercings and tattoos. The dance booths were very private. I think most of them had walls and doors, rather than just a curtain like most clubs.

In general, my experience at this club was pretty typical for Portland. My only complaint is that it gets very crowded at night. It can be hard to find a seat or get to the bar for a drink. My impression is that things get going after 9pm here. It was basically empty around 5pm. There are a few clubs in Portland that are pretty busy around happy hour, this is not one of them. The atmosphere is more like a bar than a night club. Its definitely not as glitzy as some of the downtown clubs, but it also doesn't seem like a "regulars" kind of bar.
