Fun time on a Thursday

Stopped by Dreamgirls at Rick's around 10 PM on a Thursday night for the first time in a number of years. My past experiences before and after the Deja Vu remodel had been mixed, but this time was quite fun.

There were about 25 dancers working and a similar number of customers. The dancers had some diversity of ethnicity and looks - Emery stood out with glasses and a Suicide girl vibe. Their body types were mostly on the thin or fit model side. I'd prefer a few on the curvier side, but I'm not complaining - they were quite attractive overall. There was some confident pole and floor work with a few newer dancers still learning the ropes.

The club is fairly standard Deja Vu style: two stages with poles, flashing blue and red spotlights, rolling armchairs, and VIP booths in back open to the rest of the room so only somewhat private. The DJ was okay, playing a mix of everything from AC/DC and Whitney Houston to Marilyn Manson and Cardi B. $20 cover includes soft drinks, $30+ dances which I think is typical for Seattle. They had a 3 songs for $60 special every hour or so and it seemed like the songs were full length - I've heard some DJs cut songs pretty short during specials.
