All in All, I prefer weekday afternoons

This is really a review of two visits. The first was Friday evening about 11:15 after flying home from New York. The second was Wednesday about 2:00. I'm not new to this club, so the $7 valet parking was no surprise and no problem (amazing how they know what car is mine without giving me a ticket, I guess I'm not hard to recognize). And the $15 cover at night was no surprise and I was ready to pay it to see what the night was like.

I know many of you probably don't have much of a choice about when you go, but I would say the day is more to my taste. Calmer and much less crowded. Honestly I didn't see that much difference in the quality of the dancers between the night and afternoon. In the evening there were 5 on stage at any one time, in the afternoon, 3 on stage (up from 2 the last time I was there). Now if you're here to watch, then 5 on stage is a great thing I guess. But if you're looking at the stage to pick (as I do), then it's actually a little frustrating to see someone get up on stage and then have to wait through 5 songs before she's off the stage.

Even though I'm old and bald, I get approached. If your tipping a girl on stage without success, you're doing it wrong. Don't tip a dollar or two, get a $10 or $20 out. That's a clear signal. If that doesn't interest someone, fine. If I was a girl with enough younger customers, I'd pass me by too. But if she's thinks you're OK, she'll come by, usually quickly.
