Happy Hour

I was in the city and rather than sit in rush hour traffic on I-95, I ducked into Delilah's for happy hour. This is the first time I've been here. I like the setup a lot, with the stairways descending around and through the front bar. The stage is like a runway that links to another bar at the far end. They have a free small buffet for happy hour. About ten dancers and as many customers while I was there from 5-7.

They had one girl at a time doing three-song sets. None of them were knockouts, but none were look away nasty, which given how bad Mondays are in most places it was a pleasant surprise. To their credit, even though it was slow, the girls actually did dance and put some effort into their stage show. At some clubs, the girls can get away with just standing there instead of dancing when it's slow. Anyway, I found Natalie (dirty blond) and Gia (somewhat of a grown up Wednesday Addams vibe) the most appealing.

Dollar parade was non-existant. Nobody trolled for tips. You tip when you want to. You should. I didn't ask anyone to come over, since I wasn't really looking to get one, but if I had a good time chatting with one, I'd definitely take her back for a few. Natalie was the only one to come ask for a dance. I would have if she had said more than just asking me if I wanted to dance. Seems like they do a showcase every couple of hours so you can see all of the girls at the club, which is great.
