Fly Me Away

As part of my latest Detroit-Windsor adventure me and a buddy visited the Flight Club multiple times over a 5 day period; Tuesday night, Wednesday Afternoon, Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Saturday night.... what a couple of nut jobs. The facilities are somewhat improved with all the useless Casino space now reclaimed into booths, couches or VIP enclaves. For those of you not aware there is a single hat bathroom upstairs behind the bar for customers only for a quick clean up or to avoid the attendant.

All the usual entry and drink fees, $8 valet, $10 day and $20 night cover, $8.75 for a bottled beer, $20/40 for a booth, $20 each time for VIP and $30 for a dance...... yeeesh. The worse part of that for me is the cost to go for a few trial dances with a lady who you are evaluating which now costs $80! Many of the ladies were bitching about the higher tip out fees they have now and the fact they have to adhere to a stricter schedule.

All that being said this is still the number one DTW destination as long as your wallet can handle it. The staff was all pretty good for the most part, in the 6-9 range depending on the day. The weak spot was Saturday afternoon when there were only 8 dances and 5 customers? and out of those ladies only one or two were acceptable, Cassidy was a name that comes to mind.
