I am writing this for old time sake. Tropical Lei’s hey day has sadly all but past, 2012 it was at its peak IMO. I am not necessarily bitter by this prospect as I enjoyed this place so much through out those years. My go to’s days were the late afternoons Thursdays primarily. The talent was always consistent and it was great for the laid back atmosphere. For me being a regular during that time had its advantages. The girls about 7-10 working the club could be at times pushy but not to you or anyone’s detriment, as you would never get a guilt trip for saying no or passing on someone. And you could easily figure out who were the ROBs out of the place too like Cinnamon and Porsche, but out of the rest I liked them all and would always rotated each one working the shift on each visit, never once felling buyers remorse ever. But as with anything being a regular it started to turn into a routine, as I got my fill my attention began to wane elsewhere, so I slowly stop going.
After 2015, I would occasionally stop in just to see if the magic would be there, I did find one girl during that time who I really liked, but didn’t catch her for my next visits sporadically as they were, so I stopped trying to go when she could possibly be there.
During those later stop in’s, I found the place to be intolerable; too many hustle girls, too many up sells for the stake of up sells. It just turned me off, to where I just gave up altogether.
In 2017, I thought I give it one last shot on a Saturday afternoon in May as I was in the area at the time. I was in the club no less than 10 minutes and I was continually pounced on. And when I said I wasn’t interested as it was still too early to partake, I got either the cold shoulder or the girls won’t bother with you and showed not to be interested in you in the first place treatment. I had one girl push me into her high price escort services outside the club within seconds of her introduction and handshake; what a turn off! She was cute, but she was not all that either. I stayed for about 45 minutes when a cute young hip blonde girl around 25 approached me. I found her presentation tolerable, she actually talked to me normal. So I thought she would be the best to VIP with. We go back, she steps away saying she would be back. I must’ve sat there for an uncomfortable 10 minutes waiting. I was almost ready to get up and leave. She comes back, and proposes a way hefty up sell price on top of the dance price. Wasn’t going to pay that price brought it down a little bit, but by doing this I felt it took the wind out of her sails because she really didn’t give it her all on her dance - lackluster at best.
So the moral of the story; if you’re able to deal with the set up here and you have $300-$500 to drop, it will work for you. As for me, I need more than the emptiness offered up here now, it doesn’t work for me anymore.
So Good bye Tropical Lei, I will always remember all the good times we once had; you will always live in infamy with me.
