I was on my way from the east side of Michigan back to GR and had some cash leftover from my disappointing visit to Cracker Jaxx, so I stopped in to Deja Vu for a bit. Sure, it's a Vu, but it ain't bad.

Deja Vu is at the intersection of Jolly and MLK, kind of in between Lansing and East Lansing, just a bit north of I-96. The neighborhood's not super glitzy, but it's a perfectly fine residential/commercial area. The DV building is actually pretty big and can be accessed via driveways from either Jolly or MLK. I don't know how busy it gets at night, but for a Saturday afternoon at 4:30, the parking lot was plenty spacious.

As others have said, this is a pretty big DV (not as big as North Hollywood though), and it shares space with a Love Boutique. It's a DV, you pretty much know what a DV looks like for the stage area - fairly small rectangle with accordion mirrors behind it, surrounded by club chairs on casters and cocktail tables, with VIP seating areas strewn about, bar at the back of the room (it's a nude club though, so no alcohol - $5 was all I paid for bottomless soda, no cover when I went in). Facing the stage, the "couch dance" area is off to the left; topless dance area is on an elevated platform next to the stage, and behind the stage seating is a VIP area. The VIP area has a small lobby with a bunch of small rooms with closing doors off of it, BUT there are cameras and the walls don't go all the way up to the ceiling, so don't get too excited - they're not as private as they might seem. This DV has received the automated dance timer upgrade, so dance length is not tied to songs or song length in any way - you put your money in the machine and you go until the light turns red. There's also the standard DV annoying DJ.
