Seems like the only "option" in this area

Came here late on Sunday night after going to being in Aprils for 30 minutes - which was totally dead. Emigrante is a small place that was renovated nicely probably just over 10 years ago. I barely remember the older interior. About 10 other customers there. A few in groups that were partying up a little bit. Several short and thick in the middle dominican dancers (not too great - probably refugees from the now defunct Villa Indio and Don Costa) were hanging with these guys. A lot of bartenders for a tiny joint. At least one was very hot with a round ass and pretty face. A cute and friendly PR chick was on stage - she had a nice ass and good attitude. An older pretty and fit Brazi woman with light skin and dark hair on stage too, and a group of Dominicans that i mentioned above. OK time for a quick trip.

Haven't been down to ironbound for gogo fun very much over the last few years compared to 10 years ago - even 5 years ago. So Aprils is open but seems dead, Don Costa is gone, Villa Indio gone. I heard George & I has changed to a regular bar (didn't check this visit). Skipped Day After since that has been very bad each time I've checked last few years. A few years ago, there was also the Galicia bar in this area and a few other that are gone away. So it used to be a like gogo bar hop fest back then - lots of hidden gems too - especially if your standards aren't too high lol. Now it seems the choices are so limited, not worth the effort unless doing something else in the neighborhood.
