Nice First Visit
After years of frequenting the Play House across the river in NJ, their current situation prompted me to try the Ballpark. I had seen it mentioned many times on this site,as,a comparison to PH, so I was hopeful that it would be a good substitute.
First, I thought I was lucky to spot the club. There is no sign on the road, just painted on the building itself. From the outside the building looks like a converted liquor store, with one row of parking. There is more parking just south of the building. Upon entering, my first impression was darkness. Not only was the room dark, but the stage was dark. To the right is a pool table, restrooms, and a small lap dance area, which consists of a couple of cubes with a small very worn out loveseat and a curtain that is very adequate to provide privacy. There was a sign on the wall listing six dancers. I only observed five, but they all looked pretty good. Better that I expected, based on previous reviews.
On the left is a horseshoe shaped bar with a stage at the far wall. The stage could really use more lighting. After their dances the dancers do their tip parade, and offer an opportunity to become more acquainted. I took that opportunity and was pleased. There were a variety of romantic options commercially available. I was happy that I came.
