Mother's Day

I stopped by on Mothers Day around 2PM thinking that they would not open at 1130 because of the holiday. I thought that I was correct because the parking lot had plenty of parking left. Went inside to see an empty stage and just a couple of dancers hanging out. I was about to turn around and leave but I had a free lunch coupon so I decided to at least order lunch and see what happens. By the time that my lunch was ready at least there was one dancer who did a dual set on stage. No cover, drinks 241 and still a bathroom troll.

Sat back and decided to just relax and maybe hit another club. A massage girl came by and started a back rub and I almost agreed to get a one dance rub but decided to save $$$ for a real dance. It did pick up a little with dancers doing dualees on stage with an occasional empty stage. The 11-25 range of dancers that I listed above was much closer to the lower end.

Finally decided that I would leave except if Emily came by within the next few songs. She was the only one that I recognized and I had gotten a dance one time quite a while ago from her and wasn't disappointed. What she lacks in style she makes up for with energy. The main reason that I hadn't gotten another dance with her during recent visits is because she is continuously busy when the floor is full. As I'm making my plans to leave she comes over, sits in my lap and asks if I wanted a dance when the next song starts. I like that most of the dancers in HiLiter will sit with you for almost a full song or more before moving on to a dance. During small talk, she said that she is mostly just dancing Saturday and Sunday now and that Sunday is normally slow, it wasn't because of the holiday that it was slow today.
